How we work
Who writes this, and how we check it.
Updated 5 November 2026
You should know who is behind what you read, what it is based on, and where its limits are.
Who writes it
Personality Meter is run and written by Lebwerte, a non-profit association (Verein) based in Switzerland (lebwerte.com). Lebwerte chose the statements, wrote the scoring and every text of the free overview and the personality book, and is responsible for them.
We use AI writing tools to help draft. A person at Lebwerte reads, checks and approves every text before it is published, and Lebwerte remains responsible for it.
The meter software is licensed from the company that runs KeyTill, where the keys for the personality book are sold (who sells them is shown there, before you pay). The company doesn't write, edit or approve our content, and it never sees anyone's answers or results. Lebwerte receives no payment from KeyTill. The details are in privacy.
Professional review
Not yet done. The texts have not yet been reviewed by an independent psychologist. When a review is done, we will name the reviewer here, with their qualifications and the date. Until then, no page on this site claims to be reviewed by a professional. If you are qualified and would like to review it, please get in touch through the contact page.
What we hold ourselves to
- Both ends shine. Every scale is described with strengths at both ends. No trait is a flaw.
- No invented people. No made-up testimonials, reviews, quotes or experts.
- Plain about limits. This is a self-reflection tool, not a diagnosis, and the Czech version is not validated on its own.
- Not for judging others. We ask people not to use it to select, hire or label anyone.
- Clear about what is free. The check, the light print and the overview of all five scales are free, and so is the support page. The personality book is a paid extra, and we say what it costs before you decide.
How we keep it accurate
Before a text goes live, we check its claims against the sources and its numbers against the code that calculates the result. We review the whole site at least once a year. Each page shows when it was last updated.
